A WEDDING CHAPEL FOR ALL COUPLES AND ALL WEDDINGS

Celebrate your marriage and your friends in a 150-year-old, Tiffany-windowed chapel only 90 miles from New York City in the historic Rondout district of Kingston New York, on the Hudson. Ring the steeple bell in celebration. Have an original working wooden pipe organ for your wedding music. The 40-foot vaulted ceilings and 12-foot-high stained glass windows inspire gasps from everyone who enters. As was mentioned in The New York Times and Chronogram, this 4,000-square-foot former Methodist church was restored over a six-year period specifically for the day that marriage became a right for all New York couples. The venerable building, with its landmark 200-foot steeple decorated with hearts, is now dedicated to the purpose of celebrating the new love’s triumph for all.

Have your reception in Cornell Park across the street or on the Chapel grounds under the Bluestone Arch or in our beautifully restored 2000 square foot Reception room with private dressing room and bathroom and have your food prepared in the large commercial kitchen that will thrill your caterer and make your food warmer and fresher.

Hudson Valley Chapel has 300 chairs, twelve very large round tables, a sound system for your use and our on-site wedding coordinator who will help with details; all at no extra charge.
